Our city is under attack by this Tory Government’s continued cuts to our NHS, Health & Social Care and Schools. We must stand together in unison to resist these cuts, which disproportionally affect our young, elderly and most vulnerable people.
Trade unionists, Labour Party members, activists groups and Manchester residents are coming together on Saturday 25 February to demand a Fair Deal 4 Manchester.
Join us by meeting up at 5pm in Castlefield Arena for a torchlight march to the rally in Albert Square. The protest is expected to finish at 8pm and if you share photos and messages about the event on social media please include the hashtag #FairDeal4Manchester to ensure we get maximum exposure.
Guest speakers include Kevin Courtney, General Secretary of the NUT, and Angela Rayner MP, Shadow Education Secretary. Local Manchester musicians will also be performing, including socialist singer Claire Mooney, who has written a new song especially for this event.
Bring your family and friends along to this protest and help us stand up for Manchester.
