ANGRY CONFERENCE CALLS FOR ACTION
An angry conference in Manchester has condemned Government cuts in civil legal aid from April 2013 as a terrible attack on people seeking to meet their basic, essential needs. Vulnerable people face great harm and disadvantage, says regional campaign group Access to Advice.
Short and long reports from the conference are available now, showing great energy and commitment across the region and nationally to campaign for social justice, as crucial for all. The fightback for free, publicly funded civil legal advice services is well underway! Please read the reports and join this battle!
You can view or download the conference reports below. For your convenience both short and full versions of the report have been re-published online.
