UNISON Service groups are national structures representing members in particular areas of work. Because the union covers the whole of public services, including private employers, service groups cater for the needs of members in specific parts of public service.
Each service group is overseen by an elected service group executive and holds a conference every year, where elected branch delegates decide and develop policy.
The deadline for casting your vote in the 2014 UNISON SGE Elections is on Friday 16th May.
This year the Branch has nominated the following candidates:
- Glen Williams
- Rena Wood
- Brenda Hall
If individual members have not received a paper by 14 April 2014, they should contact the ballot helpline operated by UNISONdirect on 0800 0 857 857.
Members with hearing difficulties can use textphone 0800 0 967 968.
Members should try to have their membership number to hand when telephoning.
The latest point at which members can request a ballot paper is 12 noon on 13 May 2014.
