Do you need your Maths or English certificate? Do you want to brush up on your numeracy or literacy?
Achieve a Level 1 or Level 2 Functional Skills qualification, equivalent to grade C GCSE, in Maths or English. Learn alongside other UNISON members and receive full support from qualified tutors.
This offer, for UNISON members in the North West region, is being held in Manchester starting in September.
All learners must first complete an initial assessment to see where you are currently at and to enter you for the programme which is right for you.
Please attend for a welcome and initial assessment on:
Saturday 9th September, 10am – 1pm, UNISON Regional Centre, Arena Point, Manchester, M3 1UN
Course dates start on Saturday 30th September from 10am – 3pm, and continue once a week for a total of 10 days which includes exams. The venue will be in central Manchester. If you would like to do the course but cannot commit to 10 Saturdays, please let us know if you would prefer evenings.
Courses are free, including tuition, exam entry where appropriate, travel expenses, and refreshments. We can support you with childcare costs. Note: receipts must be provided. Full support will be given to you no matter what your starting point is.
